Building your CollectionWe ensure we fully understand your artistic preferences and take into account any artwork you own already as well as the opportunities and constraints of your physical space, interiors scheme and financial budget. We then work with you to produce a clear actionable art strategy that meets your artistic and investment objectives.
Having agreed an overall Art Strategy we will work with you to select the most appropriate artwork based on suitability and cost. We have unrivalled knowledge of contemporary artists as well as long established relationships with top galleries, art fairs and auction houses worldwide. We can accompany you on visits to studios, galleries and art fairs or hang our own gallery for you to inspect and select your art in private.
We can manage the process of commissioning bespoke and integrated artwork for your internal and external spaces. We have extensive experience in managing complex and high value commissions and have the full set of technical, commercial and project management skills to help deliver your commission successfully.
We have long-standing relationships with multiple framers ranging from museum quality and antique framers to lower cost solutions, and have excellent knowledge of the full range of mounting and display methods, so we can best provide you a customised service that complements your interiors, meets your budget and both protects and enhances your artwork.
We are experienced in shipping art worldwide to and from the most remote destinations taking care of insurance, customs clearance, duty payments and interim storage as required.
We work with a range of experienced lighting designers to display your artwork at its best. We utilise installation teams that are experienced, reliable, cost-effective and can provide all required methods statements and insurances to work on even the most complex project.
We have unmatched experience of working seamlessly with clients, architects, interior designers and builders to deliver our art projects on time and on budget. Our consultants are experienced in the use of project management techniques including detailed resource scheduling and risk assessment.
Managing your CollectionIf you have an existing collection an audit is a good place to start and will allow us to gain a full understanding of the artwork you have as well as facilitate an up to date valuation for insurance or sale purposes. We would provide a full catalogue with artwork data, photographs and condition report. This report can be augmented with additional relevant art historical and market information to give a full insight into the importance and value of your existing collection.
Our team includes qualified restorers and we have access to specialist conservators and restorers as needed to preserve, repair and restore your artwork.
We will value your art collection on an insurance or market basis, using a combination of our own internal and third party databases. We can also call upon the expertise of the main auction houses and specialist dealers as required for any additional input required to ensure the highest quality valuation
We help you deal with the day to day management of the displayed collection and also periodic refreshment by planned rotations of artwork out of storage or across multiple locations, as well as augmentation through temporary loans or exchanges.
Realizing your CollectionIf you have individual pieces or collections of particular merit then we can help you improve their provenance further and share them with a wider audience by arranging for your artwork to be loaned to other galleries, museums and exhibitions. We may also be able to negotiate a fee for such loans, thereby defraying some of the expense of managing your collection.
We can assist with the sale of individual works or the dispersal of an entire collection. We can do this at auction or by private treaty, utilising a wide network of galleries, dealers and private curators to achieve the best possible prices for you, with utmost discretion.
